Congratulations to Nita Yusuf, named our EMT of the Year at this year’s Overlook Medical Center EMS Week event.

Nita joined the Fanwood Rescue squad in 2020 and very quickly became an integral part of our operation. She quickly earned her EMT certification and became one of our top responders. Over the past few years, she has ridden on multiple evening and overnight crews and often scrambles for additional calls while leading and influencing members to always do more. She is involved in multiple committees and was an integral part of revamping the squad’s LOSAP program. She is currently the top operational responder for 2024.

Nita’s service to the Fanwood community is second to none as she continues to be an excellent EMT and volunteer for the residents of Fanwood.
