The Rescue Squad, Police and Fire Departments paid a surprise birthday visit to Joe Schott, one of our town’s beloved WWII veterans who turns 100 on February 19, 2022. Joe was surrounded by his family, friends and neighbors as the loud caravan did a drive-by the day before. Happy Birthday, Joe, and thanks for all you’ve done as a volunteer in Fanwood and for your military service to our country. Squad Captain Ian Lewis, Training Officer Melissa Padulsky and member Wes Lewis brought ambulance 578 to make some noise and honor Joe.
